Absurd

Days like this is hard to cope,

mornings like this it isn’t easy to leave the covers.

Nights like those it's almost impossible not to sob.

My new mantra is: I’m not a bad person,

yet to be good,

yet to be whole.

I’m only looking for love.

Doing what you think it’s right

and following your heart

are not always on the same path.

But what if your heart is tainted?

What if your soul is readjusting?

What if your inner compass has been broken,

or never really worked at all?

There are no rules I should obey.

Life is an absurd like my good friend says;

I just need to get that in my head and hope for the best.
